This service is available in select schools (list below) in:

Kensington & Chelsea Westminster

This service provides support through art therapy to schools in Westminster and Kensington & Chelsea that do not have a Mental Health Support Team (MHST) provision.

We deliver 1:1 and group art therapy for children and young people in specialist provision and alternative provision education. Art therapy supports children and young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) by helping with their social, emotional and psychological development. Through customised interventions, our goal is to establish a supportive and nurturing environment where individuals can explore their creativity, express themselves and cultivate essential skills for personal growth. The therapeutic potential of art provides a different way to express thoughts and feelings when words can be difficult to find.  By building self-esteem, self-expression and resilience, art therapy contributes to children and young people’s wellbeing and emotional development.
