Closure of Portugal Prints
It is with great sadness that we announce yet another closure, our long-standing community arts programme, Portugal Prints, will close on 25th April 2025.
This decision was not taken lightly. However, to ensure the long-term sustainability of our organisation, we must make difficult choices, particularly in today’s challenging financial climate, and funding received for services must cover the costs incurred. Unfortunately, maintaining Portugal Prints, like the Wandsworth Wellbeing Service, was placing significant strain on our charity’s resources, leading us to the tough but necessary conclusion to close the service.
We remain deeply committed to supporting those who have benefited from Portugal Prints and will be working closely with service users to help them transition to our other Community Programmes where possible and appropriate, ensuring they continue to engage with programmes that best suit their needs.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has been part of Portugal Prints over the years; our staff, volunteers, and, most importantly, the individuals who attended and made it such a special and impactful service.
