If You’ve Been Affected by Suicide

When someone we love dies, it can take a long time to process the loss. However, it is even more complicated when we lose someone to suicide.

We understand grief is a unique and personal journey, so our Children and Young Person Postvention Worker will provide tailored support to meet each child or young person’s needs.

Whether you have lost someone you love, witnessed a death by suicide, or been affected in another profound way, we are here to offer support. There is no limit to how much time has passed since your loss.

How our Support Works

Once we receive your referral, a member of our support team will contact you within 72 hours. Together, we’ll discuss how we can best support you based on your unique needs.

Our service is available in:

North West London: Brent, Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Harrow, Hillingdon, Hounslow, Kensington & Chelsea, and Westminster.

Available for: Anyone up to the age of 18.

What we offer:

One-to-One Emotional Support

Angry? Guilty? Ashamed? Confused? Upset? Numb? Whatever you’re feeling, this is a safe, non-judgmental space where you can express yourself freely. Together, we’ll work through your emotions and guide you through the journey of bereavement by suicide.

All conversations are confidential, providing a space for you to share openly without fear of judgment. Support is flexible, and you can go at your own pace, there’s no “right” way to grieve.

You don’t have to face this alone. Reaching out is the first step toward finding the support you need.

Where do I meet you?

I can provide sessions using online video calls, telephone, or text, which will be quicker to organise for you.

If you prefer face-to-face, that can be arranged in our offices in Westminster and Ladbroke Grove.

It is also possible to meet in your school, and this would be arranged with your school beforehand.

If your needs fall outside our specialisms, we’ll do our best to connect you with other organisations that can provide the right support for you.

Meet the CYP Postvention Worker:

Fiby (pronounced Fee-Bee)

CYP Postvention Worker

Hi, I’m Fiby (Pronounced Fee-Bee). I love trying new things like new cuisines, listening to new music, watching a new series or going to new places.

The way I work:

I’m caring, empathetic and non-judgemental. I will always listen to you and respect what you want to talk about or keep private. I will always give you choices on what you might want to do. We’ll work together to find the best ways to help you feel better and to help you live the life you choose.

You’re in charge of your choices, and if you ever feel like you don’t want to meet anymore, that’s totally okay! And if you change your mind and want to talk again, I’ll be here whenever you’re ready.
