The Early Support Hub secures another year of funding

After a successful first year, the Early Support Hub receives another year’s funding!

We are delighted to announce that our Early Support Hub, a vital service providing free and confidential mental health support to young people in Westminster, has secured an additional year of funding from the Department of Health and Social Care. This funding extension highlights the hub’s success and ensures that children, young people, and young adults aged 10-25 can continue accessing early intervention support for another year.

In its first year, the hub supported 732 young people through one-to-one sessions, group support, and workshops. Offering a safe and welcoming space, it helps young people manage challenges such as anxiety, stress, and low mood, whether they need guidance, a listening ear, or signposting to further resources.

One young person who received one-to-one support shared:

I found the support helpful to my needs and problems. The session has given me a lot of support and help in dealing with certain issues that have affected me, and I am partially more confident in resolving my problems.

The funding extension reflects the government’s continued investment in early mental health intervention. We would like to thank our community partners, youth clubs, schools, and most importantly, the young people who we have supported in the last 12 months, for ongoing support and inspiration to always do our best.
