By taking on the TCS London Marathon with us, you’re not just running 26.2 miles—you’re making a direct impact on the mental health of people in your community. We support individuals across Brent, Kensington & Chelsea, Wandsworth, Westminster, and beyond, providing vital mental health services that change lives.
Every penny you raise stays local. 85p of every £1 goes directly to our service users, helping to fund our community programmes which are a lifeline to so many people facing mental health challenges.
A. The registration fee for the TCS London Marathon is £100 and we ask all our charity place fundraisers to raise a minimum of £2,200.
A. Charity running places come at a cost to the charity, and fundraising targets/ registration fees help ensure we don’t lose out on our investment and raise as much as possible to support our vital work. Registration fees for charity places in events are non-refundable and non-transferrable. We cannot transfer places to another person or defer a place to the following year.
A. Congratulations on securing a place in the ballot – we would love to have you on the team! Please email [email protected] only if you have already secure a ballot place with London Marathon Events.
As an own place runner, you won’t have a fundraising target. We just ask that you raise as much as you can to help anyone affected by mental health problems.
A. We will review each application anonymously before making a decision. To improve your chances, please give us much information as possible as to why you want to support WCL Mind and how you plan on raising £2,200.
A. You will have a 50% (£1,200) fundraising deadline of January 23rd 2026 (2 months before the event). We then ask that the full £2,200 is with us by May 26th 2026 (1 month after the event).
A. We set the minimum fundraising target at £2,200 to make sure we’re able to cover the costs that we’ve paid for the place as well as put enough back into our vital services to support people living with a mental health problem.
You don’t need to raise the full amount until 1 month after event day. We know a lot of donations come in on the week of and after the event. So there is still plenty of time to plan your fundraising and collect donations.
We will be in touch throughout your journey to give fundraising tips and ideas.
Please make sure you’re confident you can raise the £2,200 before you apply.
Whether you’re a seasoned or first-time runner, WCL Mind will be with you every step of the way. We offer all our runners a fantastic support package.
